October 19, 2006 - Travel and Arrival at the X Prize Xup

On Thursday, October 19, 2006, Sean Lynch and I flew from San Jose to El Paso TX via Phoenix. James Robertson was coming from Southern California and joined us in Phoenix for the second leg of the flight.

From El Paso, we rented a car, got the motel rooms we'd use for the trip and continued to the Las Cruces Airport where the setup for the X Prize Cupwas rushing to completion.
