The Linux 16th Anniversary Picnic on August 11, 2007 celebrated the accomplishments of Open Source Software since the release of the first Linux Kernel in August 1991.

The big picnic shown here was held at Sunnyvale Baylands Park. But there are always other celebrations around the world near the same time.
