These are the photos of the flight from Reid-Hillview Airport in San Jose
to the Mojave Air & Space Port
to see the Space Shuttle Discovery's landing at Edwards Air Force Base.
Our group consisted of Dave Goodin, Greg Read, Andrew Klofas and myself,
flying in Dave's Piper Comanche.
As we planned the trip, the anniversary date of September 11 couldn't help but
catch our attention. It seems very appropriate to celebrate many strengths
of America on the day... that we still have the freedom to travel and to fly,
that we're developing an entrepreneurial aerospace industry,
and watching a space shuttle returning from the International Space Station.
