I flew in and attended the
Hollister Air Show
on May 29, 2010.
(The show also ran again on May 30.)
Here are some of my photos.

The show took place at the
Hollister Municipal Airport.

Hollister is where I got my glider rating.
A lot of people also know Hollister for the nearest skydiving site
to Silicon Valley,
something I haven't tried yet but probably will.
This was the first year of the Hollister Air Show.
They seized the opportunity as Watsonville moved its antique air show and
fly-in from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend.
I think they did a great job, especially for the first year.
Usually it's tough for the small shows to get good performers.
And it's usually hard to score any P-51 Mustangs since all the air shows
want them.
But in this case, I think a bunch of these P-51's are based at Hollister.
So they had an advantage.
The aerobatic performers were an even split of men and women.
I'm looking forward to attending more in the future.
I'd like to thank the Hollister community for the nice gift bag that
was given to all fly-in pilots. Very nice touch. (Actually, reviving an
old tradition which seems to have been forgotten by a lot of places lately.)
