On Sept 24,
I started the day leaving before dawn from XPRS at the Black Rock Desert.
I travelled across Nevada along US-50,
"The Loneliest Road in America".
(This is a tongue-in-cheek promotion which makes fun of something a
magazine article author called the road in 1986.

stamped in the towns along the way and the Nevada Tourism Board will send
you a certificate.)
The major sightseeing point for the day was
Great Basin National Park.
I took the tour of the Lehman Caves at the park.
In total, the drive crossed 8 towns, 16 mountain passes and 1 time zone
before I reached St George, Utah.
This is not the fastest route - I intended to see the cave tour at
Great Basin National Park.
