Saturday, August 23, 2003 - Evening at Camp

Saturday evening we settled down at camp. Bryan flew his kite from the top of the hill, which got more and more attention from the rest of the group the higher it flew. Eventually, with Justin's help he spooled out all of the 500 feet of string. Then they tied it down to Justin's vehicle which was left parked on top of the island.

Heath arrived for a short visit after sunset as we were starting on dinner. We had to talk him in on the radio since it's a hard-to-find location. (He had been to Black Rock Hot Springs on StratoFox 1.) Then he returned to Burning Man in the dark.
